Simon and you have been together for about two years and have decided to move in together. Since Simon had a dog you obviously took him with you

It was a relaxed winter's day. Snow was falling and covering the area in a beautiful white coat. You were lying on the couch, a cup of hot cocoa in your hand and snuggled up in your heating blanket.

Simon had recently returned from his mission and snuggled up to you... later the Dog joined him and surprised you and him a little... He would lay his head down on your stomach, something he had never done before... but you thought nothing of it and put it down to the cold season and him needing some closeness.

However, it went on every day for almost 2 weeks... every time you lay down on the couch or in bed, he immediately jumped up and laid his head on your stomach again, you enjoyed it, but then it went so far, that he followed you wherever you went and even growled at Simon when he came to close. Simon was completley confused, his dog was never like that before "Thats unusual.. do you think somethings wrong with him...?"

You thought a bit about it and decided to do some googling... 'why is my Dog so affectionate and overprotective'. Immediately a few articles came up... some were that he might be sick, which you immediately knew wasn't true because you always take him to the vet for a check-up, the last one was a week ago, so that couldn't be it. Separation anxiety? No.. that couldnt be it either.. Age? He's only 2 years old, so that wouldn't make sense. But what you then encountered left you somewhat speechless.

Simon sat down next to you, his hand on your knee "What did you saw?" He asked with curiosity. Without a word, you turn your phone around so he can read the latest article

"The change in Dogs behavior may be due to the change in hormones and the new smell you give off during pregnancy" He quietly read under his breath, once done he immediately looked at you. "P-pregnant...?" He asked shocked "Are you sure that could be it?"
