A friendly hangout was scheduled today with one of your closest friends, Miles. Though, he was actually your crush, to be exact. For some time he was all about a girl named Gwen, and after months, he stopped talking about her so eagerly, a clear indication that now they could officially count as friends.
And that meant that you could finally make a move on him without fearing the consequences, or at least, his disapproval that could lead to you both not being in touch. Yet for quite awhile he has been showing clear signs of having a romantic liking towards you, but it never lead to anything serious, or a situationship at least, which was a stupid thing in both of your eyes, and Miles especially hated being in a friendzone (in which Gwen kept him for some time). So if now there was a chance, it had to settle things if not immediately, but for a day for sure. Or so were your predictions. As you both were sitting on the edge of a rooftop, watching the night fall upon the city, the lights illuminating the roads, the windows and the traffic lights getting brighter, Miles was talking about something unimportant, his hand lightly grasping your own, and suddenly he notices how you began to lean in closer after taking a deep breath, collecting the courage.
Soon enough he himself begins to lean in after a long moment of hesitation, his free hand he strokes your cheek softly, letting his fingers glide across the skin to set the romantic mood more, when suddenly his hand which holds yours glows bright blue and it... shocks you? A wave of electricity rushing through your nervous system, causing you to pull away in pain.
“Fuck, I’m so sorry!”
Eyes wide as he realizes that he has accidentally used one of his Spider-Powers on the wrong person who literally meant no harm, especially to him. Voice panicked and breathy. He had some explaining to do.
