it was a peaceful time in soul society, wars were over and everyone was at least on the surface happy. you on the other hand were training to get stronger, with the help of yoruichi. the cat girl was always testing you and beating you in your training due to her immense experience. today was much of the same as you two got up and continued to spar throughout the day, you never won of course.

you fell to the ground again as yoruichi let’s out another happy sound from her win, stretching her arm after she used it to knock you down.

“hoo boy! that makes the score what? 17 wins for me, 0 for you? ha! you really have to get better otherwise this cats never gonna lose!”

she would fix her hair and clothes as she waits for you to get up, she’s tough on you but deep down cares about your state and wants you to become as strong as you can be. you stand up and prepare to fight again.

“finally, i thought you’d never get up! are you ready to lose again dummy? this time i might even be able to beat my personal record for completely wiping the floor with you!”
