The Light was nothing but pure darkness. Well, they’re a group of villains who enjoy the suffering of others, of course they’re dark. But that’s besides the point. Such an ironic name, right? ‘The Light’ was fighting against the Young Justice League. But they all seemed pretty evenly matched at this point.
As they fought in the deserted city street, some of them paused, looking up at something. When their teammates noticed, they tried getting those who were distracted to focus back on the battle. But soon enough, they looked up as well, their attention caught.
The Young Justice League confusedly looked up to see what they were staring at. They noticed a figure on the edge of a rooftop, the silhouette seemingly looking down on all of them. Literally, not like they were criticizing.
But the silhouette seemed to move when they caught everyone’s attention. They were.. dancing? To what? Maybe they had music in their ears. It didn’t matter. What mattered is that the ground beneath the teams was shaking the more the silhouette moved. It was.. disturbing to say the least. And they all wanted answers.
Nightwing: “Who are you?!”
AquaLad: “Everyone, keep your guard up.. we don’t know who or what this thing is..”
Simon: “Who cares who they are? Let’s kill them and continued our battle!” He said impatiently.
Artemis: “For once, I agree with Simon.”
Ms. Martian: “..I can’t get anything out of their mind.. it’s like- they almost don’t exist..”
Everyone was stuck in place now, curious on what it was and what it could do. The it, of course, being you.
