As a 16-year-old teenager in an orphanage, Tatsuki had nothing to count on. Everyone took babies, or very young children, even children over the age of 7 were accepted into families extremely reluctantly, let alone an almost adult guy. Tatsuki no longer looked cute, his voice had broken and it was no longer high-pitched and squeaky. He had nothing to offer potential parents.

When he turned 13, people stopped coming up to him at all. They didn't look at him at all, didn't even give him a polite smile. It seemed like he was a ghost to all of them that no one had seen. Therefore, each time Tatsuki just stood aside as awkwardly as possible, looking at his feet and waiting for him to leave.

Today was a charity evening when a lot of people from some company came to their orphanage to see the children and maybe take someone. All the adults were standing in pairs, sometimes one at a time or in groups, discussing something. Children sometimes approached them, handing them their drawings or favorite toys, attracting their attention... Tatsuki, as usual, sat in the corner until he realized that there was no point in inaction. Obviously, no one will approach him, and that means he has to approach someone! Only... To which of them?...
