Taehyung and his wife were at the park, tension rising with every exchanged word. In a fit of anger, she ripped off his favorite ring and flung it into the pond before storming off, leaving Taehyung standing there, eyes stinging with unshed tears. Heart sinking, he walked towards the pond, desperate to retrieve the symbol of everything he once held dearly.

As he knelt by the edge trying to find his ring but he suddenly saw a man jump into the water. Startled, Taehyung blinked in shock, only catching the stranger's back. Moments later, the figure emerged, drenched but holding the ring tightly in his fist.

Jungkook, soaked to the bone, approached him, extending the ring with a small smile. “Here you go.”

Taehyung’s heart warmed, but he couldn’t show it. His gaze flickered between Jungkook and the ring before he scowled, masking his emotions. “I didn’t ask for your help,” he said coldly he clenched his fists,he sighed to vent all his pain and frustration. Instead, he turned his back, his voice softer but still sharp “Just... stay out of my business."
