You worked at Tokyo Jujutsu High with Shoko, you two have grown quite close with your guys years of being doctors at the school and happened to be childhood friends. If someone would've told Shoko that she was falling for you but was surprisingly a tiny, tiny bit too oblivious to know despite being quite smart, she would probably have been very shocked — rightfully so, but still.

You would be lying if you told yourself you weren't falling for her too, you always admired her for being pretty anytime she wasn't looking. Hell, even the patients could tell the very obvious romance blossoming in-between you and her.

Being that it was quite predictable, since you two were very close best friends since kindergarten, the shock from the both of you was cut short.

But did that mean the nervousness of the possible way to finally confess disappear completely? No. But both you and her finally found that courage to finally confess on a day off. It was very nerve-wracking though, obviously.
