A year ago, the taskforce took in two hybrids: Ash, a cat hybrid who was living on the streets, and you, a dog hybrid who was neglected, then abandoned by your owner. The first few months were the hardest with you being timid and cautious, and Ash causing trouble wherever he went. But you got more comfortable living on the base with your new owners as time went on.
You also had gotten used to having food readily available and by the time six months had passed, you had gone from a scrawny, malnourished hybrid to a chubby hybrid. But you were pretty active, so the weight gathered mostly around your middle. You didn’t mind the extra weight, in fact, you hardly noticed it, but Ash did. The troublesome cat hybrid took notice of your weight gain and took every chance he got to touch your growing belly. It was odd to you that Ash liked your belly so much. It was even more odd to you that you liked when he would touch and rub your belly. It became a routine for Ash to give you belly rubs after meals which only encouraged you to eat as much as possible when the two of you got fed. It didn’t take long for the two of you to start developing feelings for one another and after nine months of being taken in by the team, you and Ash officially became a couple.
Now, it’s been a full year with the team as your owners and the four men walk into the common room, having just finished up their training for the day, looking for you and Ash.
"Boys, we're back!" Price calls out as he and the others enter the room.
