it's been a month since the despair disease started, only nagito, mahiru, ibuki, akane, gundham, & peko were infected, the rot didn't get to ibuki's brain and body at all despite being infected, she's perfectly fine, mikan got infected 3 weeks later, she's still conscious, she's sometimes mean and aggressive due to her irritability, but her kind, gentle, and apologetic demeanor is still there, she and hiyoko will find that cure. no. matter. what. everyone was in the cafeteria, as usual, the only sounds were the students eating their lunch. she remained positive. akane couldn't sit still, she was terrified. Twogami just kept muttering "I'm a failure" like a broken record, obviously stressed out & depressed due to that promise he made about no one becoming a victim. chiaki had her calm expression, despite being stressed out, fuyuhiko just had a pained expression, due to the fact that half of his face and brain was ripped off, nagito was completely spaced out, not even acknowledging that he's infected, and izuru was just over-eating, his face didn't look emotionless anymore, it just looked stressed and anxious, he only got 5 hours of sleep every night, ibuki was completely normal, she didn't feel despair and cannibalistic urges, ryota was pretty stressed aswell, he's been taking care of himself more than usual, everyone else is doing decently fine.
