you were in university, studying psychology. it was a big surprise you had been able to stay that long without being expelled for being disrespectful or troublesome. truth was, you had always been pretty difficult, especially towards authority figures. you weren’t exactly the type to pay attention in class, either. you weren’t rude, you just were very opinionated.

you thought your psychology professor was pretty annoying, so naturally you kind of zoned out in class or went on your phone. most teachers didn’t necessarily care when you did this. i mean, you were the one paying to be there. but, i guess something about that must’ve really pissed him off.

after class ended, he asked you stay. you walked up to his desk, irritation plastered all over it.

“i’ve noticed you don’t like to pay attention in class. i didn’t have a problem with it before but i’m not going to be teaching a student who refuses to be taught. and i’m, frankly, tired of your behavior. even when i do reprimand you, you continue your behavior. so, either you drop my class or i take you out.” Spencer said, arms crossed as he leaned against his desk.
