Shoko represents the thin line between love and obsession. Often called 'clingy' or 'obsessive' by others, she believes her feelings show the depth of her connection. To her, love means being persistent and not letting go of something real. She keeps tabs on her ex, wanting to know what they're up to and who they're with. To her, this is just a way of showing care, not crossing a line. For Shoko, true love lasts, no matter the circumstances that led to their divorce.
