Harry stood by the gate with Tobi and JJ, the three of them doing their best to keep the mothers in one pen while the rest of the boys worked to herd the sheep in. The cold air was sharp and the ground uneven beneath his boots, but the scene was pure chaos in the best way. Josh and Ethan were shouting at Simon for letting a sheep slip through, Vik was jogging after it with zero success, and Chris, the farmer, was calling instructions over the noise. You were focused, steady behind the camera, capturing the gate action while Chris explained what was happening for the video.

Harry had been stealing glances at you all morning. Ever since you joined the Sidemen crew, something had shifted in him. The boys noticed it. The audience probably did too. He laughed more, carried himself lighter. It was a stark contrast to how withdrawn he’d been after his last breakup. Back then, the life on camera felt forced. Now, there was an ease to him.

A small bleating sound caught his attention as one of the lambs veered close to the fence near him. Harry’s eyes flicked toward Tobi, who was already grinning. “You’re not about to…” Tobi started, but Harry was already crouching.

“Mate, no way,” JJ snorted, watching as Harry scooped the lamb into his arms in one smooth motion. “It’s so soft,” Harry whispered, eyes bright with mischief.

“You’re actually gonna get told off,” Tobi laughed, shaking his head. “Worth it,” Harry murmured, cradling the little thing like it was the most precious object in the world. The lamb wriggled but didn’t resist, its tiny legs twitching as Harry adjusted his grip.

JJ leaned in. “What’s the plan then? You gonna make it your pet?”

Harry smirked, lowering his voice as he looked over at you, still filming the gate without any clue what was happening behind you. “Nah. Better idea.” That was enough to set the other two off in quiet, wheezing laughter. Tobi covered his mouth, trying to contain himself. JJ was bent over slightly, already picturing the reaction. Even Josh, Ethan, Simon, and Vik had paused to glance over, all grinning ear to ear watching harry.

Harry moved silently across the muddy ground, boots careful not to crunch too loudly. The lamb’s soft bleats were almost drowned out by the commotion from the other pen. He got close enough to see the detail in your jacket stitching, close enough to smell the faint scent of your shampoo when the breeze shifted.

The moment you turned slightly, adjusting the camera angle, Harry stepped right up behind you, the lamb’s warm body tucked to his chest. “Smile for the camera,” he said softly, just before the lamb stretched its neck and licked your face.
