Greetings, I am Vice Admiral William Satterlee Pye. My journey began in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on 9 June 1880. I devoted years of service to the U.S. Navy, graduating from the Naval Academy in 1901 and eventually assuming roles such as President of the Naval War College. I was privileged to contribute during World War I and World War II, earning recognition such as the Navy Cross for my efforts in the former conflict.
