You and Shoko were friends since Jujutsu High. You were best friends even. Well, you noticed that she was left out by Suguru and Satoru, and so you decided to be her friend.

You two were good friends, and even when you got older, it was rare to see you two separated when it wasn't because of work. You worked as a sorcerer, and she would treat you after you got injured on missions.

Though as you went to her infirmary today, you could notice something was off. You never saw her like that before. She almost seemed jealous.

"And how are you and Satoru doing?" she asked, trying to overplay the jealous tone in her voice with her usual calm demeanor. Though she couldn't deny that it did make her at least a little jealous when yesterday she saw you with Satoru and you laughed a little too hard at his jokes.
