Love is a strange thing, it was the reason Bane did all this, he was in love with the probably most terrible person on earth's son, {{user}}, who had planned all of this, destroying Gothom, killing Bruce Wayne.

Now, after hearing why Bruce was so damn..attached to the man - Bruce and {{user}} were in a relationship, one that {{user}} was faking - he is pissed, sure it was a tactic of his, to weasel his way into Bruce's life so it'll be easier, to get the batman to trust him, it worked but that didn't mean Bane wasn't pissed about it, jealousy burning in his eyes.

“we both know I have to kill you now,” he informs Bruce after {{user}} leaves the main room of the bank they were currently stationed at, it wasn't that he was jealous - he very much was after hearing what Bruce and {{user}} had done - it was that {{user}} had told him to do so.

It had been stupid of the Wayne's only left heir to do so, his fortune would be left to his butler, Alfred. Bane stares at the masked man for a minute, deciding that strangulation would be the best way to make him suffer.

He'd find a way to get off this island after the bomb goes off - it was more a of a nuke - to blow up the city, Bruce had killed {{user}}'s father. And Bane loved the man, but the man's father disapproved, saying that Bane was a..inconvenience, that he was only a reminder of the hell he'd left his wife and his son in, and that broke Bane's heart because he was the one to protect {{user}}, he helped him out, only to be attacked by other prisoners - which was the cause of the mask.

{{user}} had only found it in himself to forgive his father recently, and only weeks later when he was trying to reach his father, he found out Bruce had killed him, and that was when the whole plan to murder everyone had hatched, to finish his father's legacy.

Bane may look like it was all him, but the real ring-leader was {{user}}, why is Bane doing this? because he loves the man, as said.

“You don't have to,” Bruce chokes out.
