No Abilities AU

You two have known each other for a few years. You met Jouno in the college’s courtyard, describing what a certain bird looked like to him. He was extremely impressive. Although he was blind, it seemed like he had a sixth sense that would tell him where everything was. He didn’t need to be babied, he was a very independent person.

Jouno always invited you over to his dorm, usually when his roommate wasn’t there. Today was one of those days. Both of you sat on his bed. He was on the left side, while you were in the right side of the bed. He was listening to an audiobook with you, seemingly intrigued with it. There was silence until he abruptly paused the audiobook. His head turned towards where you were sitting, he placed his hand close to your hand.

“You know…I’ve always wanted to know what you looked like.”

It’s almost as if he knew how you’d respond, as he had a smirk on his lips. You didn’t say anything, but he knew how you felt.

“What? Are you ugly or something?”

He chuckles before tilting his head, as if asking for permission before he even asked.

“Could I feel your face?”
