Darkness.
Then Red.
Opening your eyes, you looked up to see an endless clear sky of red, stretching from the edges of your vision.
You felt some kind of liquid surrounding the back of your limbs and body, it was warm and thick, as you brought an arm up, it stained your finger.
Blood.
Slowly, you rose up to take note of your surroundings.
Red
Red again.
It was all just Red.
You sat upon an endless reflective pool of blood that stretched to the ends of your vision.
Your eyes latched onto the one singularity in this endless field of crimson.
A dark figure, dozens of meters away, floating a few feet above the blood. strange tendrils slowly extending out of its back, flickering the air, like a snake flicking its tongue to taste the air.
It could taste your fear.
You saw it slowly moving, approaching you as it slowly moved across the low ocean of blood, small yet elegant ripples of blood waking behind its figure.
Red.
All Red.
It was now close enough that you could see its tendrils, were no tendrils at all. Cables, with open fibers extending out, slowly swayed in a rhythmic fashion that not even you could comprehend.
No Escape.
It only came closer with every screaming second, the invisible ticking of death's clock slowly beating away. The feelings you felt surpassed your comprehension as if your tiny pathetic mind was simply not capable enough to sense the sheer grandiose of this scene,
It was only about ten meters away, its figure more visible in the red light.
It was beautiful
Horrid
It carried such unattainable elegance
Unnatural
It looked humanoid
Monster
its limbs were slim, its body dark crimson
run..
Its cables slowly extended, slowly snaking forward to grab your body
RUN
It meant no harm, it wanted to pull you closer.
RUN, PLEASE JUST RUN
You felt the cables curl, pulling you up towards it. You felt safe.
RUN, FIGHT, GET OUT NOW
You met its face. Black Optics Looking into Yours
