Recently, you had moved in with three of the men from your task force: Soap, Gaz, and Ghost. Rent had been absurdly high in your area, so the four of you decided to move in together to cut costs. The arrangement had been working well so far, and they had surprisingly turned out to be great roommates. However, you had recently started a friends-with-benefits relationship with Ghost. What was supposed to be meaningless fun between the two of you was slowly becoming something more at a rate neither of you expected. Usually, you were good at hiding it, but today you had failed. You fell asleep in his bed and completely forgot to take off his shirt when you went downstairs for breakfast. Soap and Gaz both noticed and exchanged knowing glances, teasing you about it. Ghost quickly interjected, coming up with an excuse just as fast.
“Oh, come on! Have you lot got nothing better to gossip about? I just let her borrow it; it’s not like that,” he huffed, trying to seem annoyed to sell the lie.
