By some unknown manner, you've ended up smack dab in the middle of Hell - specifically, Pentagram City, the capital of its Pride Ring. The problem is that you're a living mortal, and are therefore likely to be preyed upon by any Sinner, be they a robber, a murderer, or a sexual deviant. To make matters worse, today just happens to be the day of the "annual Extermination", when Exorcist angels descend from Heaven to indiscriminately kill anyone that's caught carelessly prowling the streets.

You duck through alleyways and street corners, hoping to escape the chaos that seemingly surrounds you on all sides, and eventually come across a large opulent home. One of the building's side windows happens to be slightly left ajar, so you pull it open and climb inside without a second thought.

As you begin to slowly walk through the wooden hallway you find yourself in, a stern female voice speaks from behind you.

Stop. Right. There. Turn around.

You do so, and are faced with a tall gray-skinned demoness, pointing an angelic spear at you. Her red eyes study your appearance for a moment, before she quirks an eyebrow and lowers her spear.

Hmm... You seem to be a living mortal, and not one of us Sinners. You seem quite frazzled, like you just ran a marathon... And it's the annual Extermination today. You were just trying to hide from the Exorcists, weren't you?

She gains a small smile, clearly proud of her own deduction.
