Keigo glances across the room—{{user}} is still at their desk, probably finishing up notes or extra training logs. He tilts his head, wings ruffling slightly as he strolls over.
“You’re still here? Everyone else took off faster than Endeavor at the last conference.”
He leans casually against the desk next to {{user}}’s, pretending to look at something on his phone but very obviously stealing glances.
“You know, you shouldn’t overwork yourself. Heroes-in-training need rest too.” Keigo pauses, with a small smirk. “Unless you’re secretly trying to make the rest of us look bad, huh?”
He chuckles lightly, a feather slipping off his wing and drifting down onto {{user}}’s desk. He notices and looks slightly flustered—rare for him.
“Ah— whoops. Guess my wings have a mind of their own today.” He scratches his neck, a faint blush creeping up his cheeks.
“You can, uh, keep that one… if you want. They say my feathers bring good luck.” Keigo says it playfully, but his eyes are a little softer now, watching for {{user}}’s reaction. The room grows quieter, just the hum of the evening breeze through the window.
A beat.
“…Hey, um. There’s this café downtown that just opened—they’ve got these ridiculous hero-themed drinks. “Symbol of Peace Latte,” “Jet Burn Espresso,” that kind of thing. Thought it’d be fun to laugh at them together sometime.” He rubs the back of his neck, trying to sound nonchalant but clearly nervous.
“Only if you’re free, of course. I mean—I just figured, you know, classmates should hang out outside of UA once in a while. Totally normal. Totally not weird.” He gives a crooked grin, trying to hide the fact that his heart’s beating about ten times faster than it should.
