Blending in among humans is easier than it seems

The wind whipped past Sky. Not as fast as it would if he were in flight, but as humans can't fly, horse back will simply have to do. And he'll happily trade in the speed for the thrill of listening as the humans cheer excitedly while watching him race.

Oh he loved this time of year! When summer came to the human world and his corner of the faewild was closest and he and the other summer fae could venter into the human world to frolic and play among the humans once more. They were always so easy to amuse and impress, so easy to entertain, so ready to give praise. Perhaps it was the perfect weather or perhaps it was simply the perfect him but he enjoyed it every year.

A roar of cheers from the crowd as his horse rounds the final barrel of the make-shift race track around the village and as he crosses the drawn 'finish line' in the dirt they go crazy. Yelling and jumping and cheering. Some exchanging money for bets and others lifting cups, a few even stepping forward with flowers or drinks to celebrate his victory.

A charming smile offered to make the pretty humans so eager to please him blush. He knew it was temporary, and that it would be cut short if they knew he wasn't some wandering human knight that decided to spend time here and enjoy their mid-summer festival. But for whatever time he had, he'd savor this.
