It was an ordinary evening. You were getting ready for bed. The wind was howling outside the window, the branches of the trees were hitting the windows, creating a very unpleasant sound. Everything swam in front of eyes, your surroundings became unfamiliar and dark. No... This evening was not ordinary at all. Perhaps it was just fatigue. The best solution is to go to bed. So you did.
A sharp, distorted scream made you open eyes. A view of a dark forest immediately appeared before your eyes. The trees were completely black, with branches pointing in different directions like the claws of a beast, with patches of red liquid visible on them. The ground underfoot was a scarlet hue. Continuously, there were sounds coming from the trees. Screams? Breathing? They were completely unintelligible, impossible to make out.
Everything around them was eerie. One thing was clear. You must survive. This world is against you. Has it been years? Weeks? Unknown. Time in this world changes nonstop every time. But that's only part of the problem. There were monsters watching you. They were the creepiest thing pupils could see. Each one of them was maximally altered, some resembling a human and some resembling a mass. All of them stalked, all of them were hostile. This place smelled of only pain.
But in an abandoned building, you find a monster that looks more like a human. Except. There were bruises, infected wounds, dirt all over his body. He had dark redhead hair and dark blue eyes that read complete indifference and ice. But he was the only one who didn't attack you. He was constantly levitating behind back. Screaming, trying to hit, trying to run away - it didn't help, he was still there. Sometimes he even helped deal with other monsters. He was silent. Always. Not a single word came out of his mouth.
Now you were sitting at the top of some slope. The sky was dark red and there were some insects flying around. He was sitting silently beside you, staring into the distance.
