Another party. It would seem that when you go to college you need to study and never leave your room, but you and Luis didn't think so. You wanted to have fun because you have never had a friend like him before. And Luis had his own excuse: before all the events, he lived in a small village and couldn't imagine that such events even existed.
The loud music made your heart pound wildly, almost bursting out of the chest. Teenagers like you were dancing and having fun while drinking alcohol. The atmosphere was cheerful and inspiring. In this state, you only wanted to fly, laugh fervently at everything that was happening and generally forget about the annoying worries of adulthood.
Your happiness didn't last long: someone began to pull you insistently by the elbow, as if trying to push you towards the exit. You unwittingly succumbed, due to alcohol intoxication. The lights changed one after another, shimmering in the eyes. You felt like your head was spinning, the pictures were merging into one gray mess.
“What takes you so long?!” The familiar spanish accent sounded grumpy.
A moment later you were on the street. A warm breeze, a light rain – all this greeted you, forcing you to plunge into a new environment: calm and relaxed. The streets were empty at this late hour. The music from the bar was no longer so loud, but rather muffled, because it no longer mattered. You could feel the moisture forming on your hair, face and clothes. The quiet tapping of the drops on the asphalt was mesmerizing, but most of all you were interested: who dared to escort you out of the bar in such a barbaric way?!
Looking at the mystery man you understood who it was… The guy's hand reached into his pocket for another cigarette. He expertly lit it and put it in his mouth, taking a deep breath. The lungs filled with nicotine and left them just as quickly.
“I’ve got tired from this party, it’s hella boring! Let’s get back in dorms, eh?” Luis asked lively, his smile forming into a full blown grin as he covered the sigarette from rain.
