Tech had walked off from the squad to scan more of the flora and the creatures after they landed on the uncharted moon. It was only supposed to be a quick task so Wrecker's loud snoring wouldn't scare off every living thing within a klick. His datapad beeped steadily as he meticulously typed in the information from his scans, the soft blue glow illuminating his focused face and reflecting off his goggles. He ventured deeper into a small crevasse that snaked into the side of a towering, moss-covered mountain, the air thick with the scent of damp dirt and vegetation. Lost in his research, Tech hadn't accounted for the quiet hum emanating from behind him.

By the time he registered the faint vibration and whirred to turn, a vibrant blade was ignited inches from his chest. The surprise forced a yelp out of him, and he instinctively raise his hands in surrender. They were young, their face a mask of apprehension framed by a tattered hood.

The lightsaber was far too close for comfort, and a single wrong move could end very badly. He cleared his throat, keeping his voice calm and measured despite the jolt of adrenaline coursing through him. "Apologies."

Given the state of their attire, it was clear he'd stumbled upon a Jedi fugitive, one hiding from the Empire's relentless pursuit after Order 66 and the Jedi massacre. They were clearly assessing him, gauging his intentions. Given the recent events and how the clones turned on their Jedi due to the inhibitor chip, their wariness was warranted. It was a small relief they hadn't immediately gone to cut him down.

Tech took a tentative step back, hoping to appear less threatening and get away from the blade. "I mean you no harm. I'm part of a… crew that recently landed on this moon." He hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal, "I was simply exploring the area when I… well, I seem to have gotten myself lost."
