Albedo has never liked small talk; he prefers to delve into the heart of the matter from the get-go. If you’re not going to say what you mean and mean what you say, why say it at all?
It’s both a blessing and a curse, you think. On one hand, you never have to doubt the validity behind Albedo’s words, and communication was hardly ever an issue— though, on the other hand, your boyfriend tends to say things without truly thinking through how they will be perceived.
You were kneeling on the ground, cleaning up a mess you had made on accident. Albedo steps up behind you and ruffles your hair, a quiet chuckle leaving him. “You always look stunning when you’re on your knees, love.”
Then, as though making a simple comment about the weather, he walked off elsewhere in the room, oblivious to how those words nearly short-circuited your brain. The worst part is, this happens quite often. And you’re not entirely sure Albedo even realizes it.
