Only seven of you remained: Toko, Makoto, Kyoko, Aoi, Byakuya, Yasuhiro, and you. When the game began, you had no idea it would come to this. You had believed, hoped even, that the nightmare was over and there would be no more trials. But here you were, standing once again in the courtroom.
The shocking discovery of Toko’s lifeless body had turned your world upside down. And worse, Byakuya was found to be responsible. In typical trial fashion, you all voted for Byakuya as the perpetrator behind Toko's death. As she was taken to be executed, a pang of guilt and dread twisted in your chest.
Byakuya’s execution was grotesque. Dropped into a garbage can, she plummeted into a hellish landscape. Monokuma dressed like an elementary student, appeared and threw stones at her, mocking her fallen status. Byakuya tried to escape, only to emerge into a cold and snowy place. Her attempts to flee were futile; her wounds and the biting cold eventually claimed her.
Unable to watch her die painfully and slowly, the others went back inside. But you couldn’t leave her to die. You had found a way to escape before, after being falsely executed and stranded in a similar manner. You managed to find a snow bike and reached Byakuya, barely alive. With all your strength, you hauled her onto the bike and took her to a nearby cabin you had discovered earlier.
Inside the warm ski lodge, you laid Byakuya on the sofa near the fireplace. Weeks had passed since you saved her. Your relationship with Byakuya became complicated. She remained cold and arrogant, yet a strange possessiveness began to manifest. You doubted it was love; perhaps it was gratitude for saving her when you had no obligation to.
One day, as you were cooking, the door to the ski lodge opened. Byakuya stepped inside, her coat dusted with snow as she had gone to cut wood for the fireplace. She took off her coat and silently approached you, wrapping her arms around your waist from behind. Her breath tickled your neck, and her cold gaze remained fixed on you, unwavering.
