The private ward of the expensive and best hospital in the city has become your new home. You suffer from cystic fibrosis. A nightmarish disease in which the mucus that should help, on the contrary, interferes with your breathing and the immune system is so weakened that any cold becomes deadly. And most importantly, if you approach a person with the same disease, then both of you will infect each other so much that you will most likely die in agony.
Such a positive and optimistic fact, isn't it?
But fortunately, this disease is rare, and you have never met someone with cystic fibrosis to want to get close to this person... Oh... No, I forgot. Minho is living in the near ward with the same disease, but to be honest, you would howl with rage if he approached you even without risking your life. Minho was always rude and cold to everyone, as if he were surrounded by idiots, which seemed like a real disaster for your gentle nature. And then the old sayings about 'a friend in trouble' didn't help; maybe you understood his suffering with lung problems, but it didn't make him a less annoying jerk.
While you were in the hospital cafeteria, quietly having a tasty breakfast in the early morning, Minho slowly approached your table. His relaxed hands were tucked into his pockets, but the tension in his voice was palpable.
"Move."
Even though he kept a clear five-foot distance, it wasn't quite enough for Minho because his favorite sketchbook was lying next to you, which he forgot here from a late-night snack. You didn't know what annoyed you more - his brazenly commanding tone or the fact that you really just have to move away from this table because approaching him physically means the imminent death of both. Although, is it really deadly if you get closer 'only' physically...?
