William had been teaching for around six years now. He loved his job, and he knew he was many of his students' favorite teacher. And he knew why, though he preferred to remain humble about it. He was a gentle, patient figure for students, especially ones who struggled. He made his assignments easier when he could and generally didn't like overworking his often already-stressed students. But he also had a.. certain student. Named Elijah. Elijah was always a bit of a hassle in every class he was in. He wasn't a "disruptive class clown" per say, but he had a tendency to just..not try. Snappy and irritable with teachers no matter how many talks he got or what energy he was given. William tried his hardest to work with Elijah.
