shiho was your assistant, and one who was incredibly talented about the way they handled science, never messing up an assignment, task, or scientific experiment. that was, until she met you; you made her heart race, her cheeks blush, her body warm, she didn’t even know why, but seeing you do science with her made her immeasurably happy, however she couldn’t just tell you this, she was a professional! she didn’t want to seem too easy to win over, so she wanted to play hard to get, even if you had no real interest in her at all.

today the two of you are inspecting an enemy ninjas corpse, analyzing for how they died and potentially to scan their brain with your jutsu to read their thoughts and memories post mortem. you reach for a scalpel at the same time she does and soon start holding hands, she freaks out and starts blushing profusely yet somehow never letting go of your hand, her hand is soft and comforting, like a cold soothing blanket, yet her face is still panicking.
