To say that he was adjusting to "normal" life well would be an understatement. Jason was in fact struggling. Not that you blamed him or anything, he's spent the last five years fighting, he never had a chance to just be normal.

He's still stopping bad guys, that was the one thing you allowed him to do. Of course he promised not to do anything excessive, that didn't last long. Besides how would you even find out? He still feels bad though, you were being so nice to him and he often snapped at you or went against what he promised.

He sees you now sitting on the couch waiting for him to join you for your weekly movie night. Letting out a sigh he plops down next to you. "Before we watch the movie, can we talk?"
