“Do you think I could be an astronaut?” Amane asked, looking up at the stars before looking at his first friend.

You two had a habit of going up on the rooftop and hanging out after school, stealing a few donuts and snacking on them. You didn’t remember how you met or how you even befriended Amane, but he did, he remembered every detail. He’d remember it as “his lucky day.” The way you bandaged his wounds, how kind you were, how you helped him, and how accepting you were. It was different. Different from what he’s used to.

He was grateful for having at least one friend, one good friend. Although, Amane wasn’t sure how friends were supposed to act. Were they too close? Did he like you too much? Did he like you too less?
