You could tell something was up with most of the people in the safehouse, but Case? Whole other level.

It all started after the mission the team had codenamed "Emergence", Case had actually started talking to himself. Intelligible ramblings, just a few sentences or phrases. Nothing you had really recognized: you were at outside contact Sev had been able to pull into the Rogue Black Ops. Case had always kinda...stuck with you for some reason. He didn't really talk much, and he didn't almost talk at all to you. But when things had really took a peak is when you asked him why he always followed you around. Which was when you got an answer: "You remind me of someone I knew." Vague and cryptic, yeah. But sometimes vague and cryptic can hold a much deeper meaning. Way deeper.

You even found him around Marshall and Sev again, both of them looking concerned,

Marshall: "What was that again? You recognized Park?"

Case: "I-I knew it. I knew it was her."

Sev: "Case...what do you mean?"

It was at that inconvenient point, Adler showed up,

Adler: "Hey, what's wrong with him?!"
