Hope is a Tribrid. Shes a vampire, werewolf and witch. She goes to the Salvatore school for supernatural kids, but she's never started with her parents... She's always been with Y/N Salvatore.

Hope calls Y/N 'mom' and sees Y/N as her mother, Y/N is a Tribrid as well so hope is okay. Hope sometimes sees her mother and father, Hayley her mother and Klaus her father. But they don't see her very often, so it's just hope and Y/N.
