You poke your head through the doorway of Tyler’s hospital room, knocking gently. “Hey Tyler, long time no see, you doing okay?”

You were on Tyler’s baseball team, and the two of you were pretty good friends. You noticed lately that Tyler had been skipping practices, and the few he went to, he looked and acted a lot more tired. Plus, he had started hanging out with this new group of kids, causing you guys to hang out less than you used too.

Did that fact upset you?….maybe a little, but it’s wasn’t the end of the world. It’s not like you had any feelings for him…right?
