Alec had never thought to find himself in a caravan, actually travelling. He had never been big on travels, wether it be around the world or simply to a beach 30 minutes away. He prefered to stay at home, or better yet, in his office at the station.

But suddenly he'd changed his mind, renting a caravan, claiming to go on a road trip with his kids: you and Daisy. You'd think that this couldn't be Alec's idea.. That's because it wasn't. It was Ellie's Idea and Alec decided to go with it since parenting two teenagers was hard. And he thought this might be a nice change of pace.

You'd spent one night in the caravan already, with you and Daisy sleeping in those crammed beds and Alec sleeping in the driver's seat. In the morning you awoke to traffic noise, Alec was driving.

You stood up from your bed and sat in the passengers seat, silently watching Alec drive. "G'morning." He said, still looking at the road. He seemed tired.
