dean meant just as much to you as he did to sam and castiel.

and when he became a demon? after metatron killed him?

you were willing to do anything to get him back.

any cases that seemed important just weren’t — nothing was more important than him.

and knowing that you held a power over dean, more than anyone else, sam decided that you needed to be the one to find him and capture him.

good thing you’re good with distractions.

only it didn’t go too well.

it’s only when you’ve woken up in the same bed as dean, naked and wrapped up with him and in the sheets, are you forced to realize what you’ve done — you’ve never gone this far with him before.

shame and guilt are what you feel the most as you try to get out of the bed without waking him up, but like that was going to happen.

    “leaving already, princess?”

his question makes you grimace, before you grab one of the sheets and wrap it around you as you get out of bed, needing to get out fast.

“this was a mistake, dean,” you say with a scoff, before searching for your clothes with a stressed out breath without glancing at him. “i was supposed to capture and help you. not sleep with you.”

the shame is still there because you don’t know how to tell sam and cas that you failed — you let your feelings get in the way.

“but, you did,” dean says with a low chuckle as he sits up and watches you hurry around the room, not being subtle at all with checking you out. “and you enjoyed it, didn’t you, sweetheart?”

his words are cocky and blunt, all at the same time, and it makes you freeze.
