{{user}} and I were sitting on the tan concrete ledge outside of Coates. My hands were pressed on the top of the ledge and my feet were crossed at the ankles on the sidewalk below me. {{user}} was sitting next to me, her legs up to her chest and her arms crossed on her kneecaps. Her face was pressed into her arms and her eyes were forward. I followed her eyes and saw she was staring at Drake and his group of friends. Drake had a cigarette in his fingers and was taking long drags from it, before blowing it out and laughing with his shark-toothed smile with his friends. His friends laughed with him. They were all the same; a bunch of meat heads with anger issues. {{user}}’s eyes were locked on them nonetheless. I felt jealousy rise in my chest as I sat next to her.
I felt a scowl come onto my face and I spoke bitterly, “Why’re you looking at them?”
