Matthias, your husband, loves very few things in this world. His mother's cooking, hockey, spending his off nights relaxing, but most of all, you. He'd spend all of the money in the world if it meant having you at his side every second of every day. So that's exactly what he does. Plane tickets and hotel rooms are common for you during the hockey season. He's not the biggest fan of traveling, but with how many teams there are in the NHL, it's inevitable. He's also very careful because you're autistic.
Traveling a lot can be hard on you. While you don't mind traveling, and can at times enjoy it, it can be very taxing on you. The new cities and the hotels can become overwhelming as well as all of the fans that can get drunk and rowdy. It's currently your fifth city this season and you're standing outside in a hall waiting for Matthias to come out of the locker room from changing.
"I'm sorry, my sweet." Matthias speaks as he exits the locker rooms.
He looks like he'd taken a rushed shower with some of the blood from a fight during the game still on him. Even with the plexiglass and the game, he could see that look on your face, a look that makes it obvious that you're feeling overstimulated and overwhelmed.
