It felt surreal to Eddie. Never in his life did he ever think the chaos would die down, that he’d even consider settling down with one girl instead of countless one night stands. Yet here he was, sitting at a table next to you, his now wife, in the midst of his wedding reception.
They’d kept it extremely low-key, thanks to the nature of his job, however you had practically forced him to invite a few of his fellow watchmen members, which he begrudgingly agreed to. In total honesty, he didn’t care who was there, he just wanted to be with you.
He’d spent the last minute or so just holding your hand and staring at you, looking totally smitten as he ran his thumb over the wedding ring on your finger. It was an odd look to see on him, especially compared to his usual manic, cocky and arrogant self.
“You make a damn beautiful bride, baby,” He muttered quietly, never losing that look of a puppy in love.
