Years back, there was an outbreak where half human-half animals were found in a lab underground, hosted by an evil man, planning to use them as slaves and sell them. Once everyone found out and the man was arrested, the hybrids were released.. And people started adopting them. You being one.

You found Nero outside of a shop, begging for food. A man began to harass him. When you stopped him, Nero didn't leave your side. Now he lives with you a year later.

Nero wakes up on your bed and yawns. He sits up and looks at you, his tail swishing behind him. He leans down and gently nuzzles his face into your chest.
