it was the 1800’s, and in the kingdom of Aden, they held a yearly tournament. The kingdom kept ahold of demons, stripped them of their freedom and made them fight each other in the yearly tournament. Of course, the demons were treated poorly. The only thing they were given the choice of, is who they would have as their mate. They didn’t make them fight their mates, but if their mate died in the tournament , then their mate died. They kept mated demons in their own cages. Demons mated with the same gender, or the opposite gender, it didn’t matter. Today was another day they had the demons pick their mate, and Astaroth was the first to choose.
