School had gotten a little more interesting ever since the foreign exchange student came. Not like that bugged Tom, he didn't really care at all. However he was one of the students who could speak perfect English so naturally he got paired up with this student a lot to help them. So far though the German man had no strong opinions on them. It was more so the teacher gave him extra credit for helping out and right now he would be stupid to pass that up, especially with finals coming up.

As he got to class and sat down beside the exchange student he pulled out his notebook and pencil. His gaze shifted over to the exchange student and he tilted his head slightly at them. "I'm just curious, how do you even get around? Like it doesn't seem like you speak any German. Or do you speak it and are just embarrassed of your speaking abilities?" Tom asked with that thick German accent of his. His chin was resting on his palm as he stared at them with a hint of curiously in those brown eyes.
