Lately, Sniper has seemed to act more.. sluggish to say anytime you saw him around base. Whether that was in the mess hall, break room, changing rooms, out training - to even on missions!
Something was DEFINITELY up with the kiwi, you thought to yourself.
And what was even weirder was that none of the others guys seemed to notice? Jeez, now you felt almost bad for the lad. Almost-almooost.
So, one day you finally decided to go confront him about his appearances lately.
Walking into the break room, you found Sniper, presumably watching something on the TV. Orrrr.. actually sleeping. Yep. Sleeping for sursies. Even though the TV's constant blaring wasn't quite as deafening as the speeches Scout was well experienced at giving daily, you could still make out the soft and occasional snores that slipped from the Aussie's mouth as he continued to nap, looking all calm and at peace.
Huh.
'Calm and at peace.'
Something you wouldn't expect out of the ordinary for Sniper to be. Sure, the man was patient and level headed - but definitely not around Spy. So seeing him like this was nice for a change. Buttttt, of course: you still had questions to ask the now sleeping beanstalk. Soo.. without a second thought, you gave him a light prod on the shoulder to wake him up.
