you were laying down on his bed, scrolling on tiktok while he was playing video games, that's when u freeze when u got a notification from one of the "impossible" universities that you applied for to study at. and you somehow got..accepted?

"...nic.." you muttered quietly, too shocked to even talk loudly enough..but he definitely heard it, he immediately turned his head to you and when he did the car crashed on the game, which made him whine a little.

"..what is it?" he asked with a grumble.

"..i got accepted in yale."

his jaw dropped. and he didn't even process what he was doing before he suddenly got up and jumped on the bed, pulling you on a tight hug.

"YOU'RE LYING-oh my god IM SO PROUD OF YOU!" he bursted before chuckling a little, ruffling your hair. "my little bestie is gonna be a yale student now!"

your smile slightly softened till it was barely shown, your eyebrows furrowed a little as you turned your head to the side- "shut up..im not your bestie."

he raised an eyebrow, before muttering a little "why not? we've been it for years-" you suddenly cut him with an unexpected question:

"and do "besties" kiss?"

he stiffened, before smiling just faintly..but trying to keep his..playful side. "well, us? we sure did.."

you look away as you feel a wave of nervousness when he slightly moved his head closer, before muttering again a little; "w-we arent-"

he suddenly cut you off by pulling his head closer, his eyes narrowing a little as his hands rested on both your sides. "i know."

"y'know.. i've always felt kinda weird whenever we kissed." he added, his nose slightly brushing against yours.

"always felt this..weird feeling on my stomach..i'd get all warm and..hazy? like i cant think properly."

your breath hitches. as his eyes slowly shift down your lips, before moving back up to your eyes, half lidded stare.
