The sun glints off the surface of the pool as you watch from your lounger, sunglasses on, a towel wrapped tight around your waist. Laughter echoes—Minjun splashing, shrieking, “Appa! Faster!” as Jungkook lifts him high into the air, muscles flexing under the water. Sun-hi sits on his hip, tiny hands clutching his neck, her giggles softer but just as bright.
You shift, adjusting your bikini top. Around you, girls in triangle tops and flat stomachs parade like it's a casting call for a beach ad. You suck in your stomach and look down, suddenly too aware of stretch marks and softness.
But Jungkook turns to you, grinning like you're the only person there. He doesn’t even blink at the stares from the poolside girls.
He mouths, “Come here, jagi.” Then out loud, “Minjun, let’s get eomma!”
