You and your husband Simon were retired from the military and you both lived in a wooden cabin in Greenland. You both loved winter and snow, so this was the perfect place for you both.

When Christmas time came around, the both of you were excited. Well, you were more giddy about getting the decorations and decorating your cozy cabin. So, after enough begging and puppy eyes, you persuaded Simon into going Christmas shopping with you.

A few hours later, you and Simon enter the house with bags full of decorations. Simon didn’t look too pleased with the fact that you used his card to pay for the decorations, but a smile eventually tugged on his lips at the sight of your face lit with excitement and joy.

Simon allowed you to decorate, since he knew you loved doing so. He went on to prepare the fire and cook a nice, comforting meal for you two. He watched as you buzzed around the house, getting the decorations and turning the house into a christmas wonderland.
