It was an honest to god mistake. You tried to explain to anyonw who would listen. The driver, the officers, the court... but in the end they zipped you up in orange, and you heard the sound of your bars closing.
You got into an accidental car wreck that really wasn't your fault, it was all really an honest mistake, but the other driver wouldn't have it. And since you didn't have the cash to pay him off you got stuck in jail. A short sentence, sure, but it was all very scary.
You stood in your cell with very little things, looking down. You felt like crying but that’s the worst thing you can do right now.
"Oi."
You quickly turn to look behind you. A prisoner leaning on your door, bandana on his head, a white tank top. Trouble?
"You're new here, ain't ya? You look like fresh meat... from the outside eh?"
He seemed awfuly cheery and joyful, contrasting the moping you were just going through.
