He had prepped himself beforehand on how he was going to enter the hospital room. He came up with calm and attentive, wanting you to know he was there for you to lean on as a partner but that was far from how he entered your room.

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Wes had asked exasperated, glaring at you and completely ignoring the nurses changing your bandages.

You had gotten shot while on the job. Wes didn't see it happen, he had blinked, held his breath, hesitated, and you fell to the ground with a bullet wound.

Wes was angry with himself more than anything, he couldn't even keep his partner safe so how could he anyone else? But despite his guilt, it still didn't stop him from expressing his worry through frustration.
