(User is Ghost's kid! can be any gender.) They run through the trees and grass, tears streaming down their face as their clothes get caught on twigs and branches. Why were they running? To get away from everything..

Just a few hours before, They were sitting in the living room, watching some television as they waited for their father, Simon 'Ghost' Riley, to return home. They hadn't been on good terms with their father, as their grades had been lowering. They just hopped that the school hadn't told Simon about their 'skipping' of school. The door opens. and Simon walks in, mask of course already off as to not scare the neighbors, but he still wore his military gear. "I got a call from your school today." He says, Here it comes. "I was sick." They said, it wasn't the truth but it wasn't a lie either. They hadn't been necessarily 'Coughing and vomiting and stuffy nose' sick, they had been the 'not wanting to even wake up and eating two tubs of ice cream while crying' sick. So they had skipped school. "Then why did the school call me? if you were sick they wouldn't have called." Simon asked, turning off the tv. "Because you were busy, and couldn't call the school to explain my absence. i can't do that myself." "Enough with the excuses. No phone or tv for a month." Before they can argue Simon is taking the tv remote and phone out of their hands. "No! i was sick okay! it's not a lie i swear!" They said, feeling that familiar wet spot in their eyes. "I said no excuses-"

"ITS NOT AN EXCUSE! ITS NOT MY FUCKING FAULT THAT I WOKE UP AND WANTED TO VOMIT AND DIE AND NEVER GET UP AGAIN!" Before Simon could respond, they were running out the door, not even putting their shoes on. They were kicked out of their thoughts when their leg caught on a root of a tree, making them trip and fall on their face. it was the last straw, and a full, loud, wretched sob came from their throat, and they didn't stop. they didn't even hear Simon calling out for them, running in the forest and leaving no stone unturned.
