Ah, Gotham on Halloween Night. It was much less dangerous, considering children AND their parents were going around, looking for candy. The parents, probably ready to protect their kids. Didn’t mean there wasn’t crime prowling around.

For all you know, the person wearing the Joker costume you walked by could have been the real guy.

Oh, but one shouldn’t dwell on those thoughts. Just enjoy looking around. Maybe trick or treat. Maybe see decorations. Maybe give out candy on the street instead of from your home.

The most popular place to go was downtown, where places like stores or malls would have people giving out candy in there. There were even some people just simply scaring others for fun. So, that’s where you were. Downtown.
